What are QSL cards used by amateur radio operators, SWL, CB, or PMR?

A QSL card is an official confirmation of a completed two-way radio contact between two stations of amateur radio operators (Ham Radio), CB (Citizen Band) users, SWL (Short Wave Listeners), or PMR446 users. QSL cards are used to certify a radio contact made on HF (High Frequency, also known as shortwave), VHF, or UHF bands and represent a long-standing tradition highly valued in the amateur radio communications community. QSL cards typically include detailed information about the radio contact, such as the station callsign, date and time of the QSO, band or frequency used, transmission mode, signal report (RST), and the Maidenhead locator (Grid Square) of the contacted station. They can be sent in paper format or electronically through digital services such as MFH.
