Who is IU0LTQ
My
name is Luigi, I'm 57, I'm married and I have 2 daughters. I am a ham
radio operator since 2018 and I have been a SWL for more than 30 years
and for 30 years I have broadcast on the citizen band. From 2015 I' have
resumed my studies; Now
I have a degree in Physic. Physics and Radio are the passion of my
life. They are subjects that I study for hobby and not for career. I
live in Frosinone, a city at 80 km from Rome.
My
preferred radio is the Yaesu FT-991A. I use the Yaesu or Icom IC-9700
together with an AirSpy HF+ SDR, and Ham Radio Deluxe or SatPC32
satellite programs for Doppler control. The satellite antenna is a Arrow
Alaskan crossed yagi. For VHF/UHF I use a Yaesu FTM-400XDR. Backup on
VHF/UHF is a Yaesu FTM-7250DR C4FM/FM radio. The versatile Yaesu FT-70D
is my preferred handheld.
On
HF the portable Chameleon vertical MPAS2 antenna "system" or a my
Antennas 8010 EFHW are used, and a W6LVP amplified magnetic loop for
passive monitoring. A Diamond X300NA antenna is used for VHF/UHF.
I
am active most days on the hf bands, ssb and sometimes cw. Qsl cards
are available direct, to exchange Qsl cards is a pleasure. Also swl
reports are most welcome by card, and will receive mine by return.
I collect qsl cards,and if you want to exchange for collection only, i will be happy to change with you. I also collect postage stamps and paper banknotes from all over the world, and can exchange with anyone if you have.
